CAM Mash Up: This Week (Feb 18 - 24)

Posted by Meigan Montoya on February 25, 2019

Here's a quick rundown of all of the happenings in the CAM industry in this week's CAM Mashup!

Supporting the Board

Few things in a homeowners or condo association are more important than the board. Obviously, CAM managers are the masters working the machine, but that machine needs to be taken care of so the community can run smoothly.

The board is responsible for so much. From collecting fees to enforcing rules, there is little that goes on without their knowledge, so keep them aware of their responsibilities, and making sure they're equipped to carry them out is essential. Maybe that's helping them come up with a strategy for defusing out-of-control board meetings, or maybe it means defusing the conflict within the board itself

More importantly, supporting your board could mean implementing a tool that makes community life in general easier. Trever Midgley of HOA Strategies in Utah noted that bringing on TOPS [ONE] not only gave him 120% growth in their first year using it, but it also made the lives of those using it simpler and gave back more time in their days. A cloud-based software platform like TOPS [ONE] could be the best way to show your board and community that you're listening and hearing their concerns, and you're ready to give them a way to serve the community in the best way possible.
