It's All About the Amenities, Baby

We all want to make our community associations attractive to new homeowners. One way to achieve that is to make sure you have the amenities they can't live without. But what are those? Which amenities will drive revenue or make residents willing to pay more? What you need to have is a formula to measure the ROI of an amenity.

Competitive Advantage

What's your community management organization's competitive advantage? What sets you apart from your competition? What about your HOA Management software? "HOA software is constantly changing and getting better. It’s helping us automate processes and communicate better, with… well, everyone! If you haven’t looked into it for a while, or if you’re using a system that is just barely getting by… it’s time to evaluate your HOA software and put together a system that will help you grow and compete better."

You Say You Want A Revolution?

We all want to change the world, or at least, our world. "Revolutionizing your community association management company and the way your business functions on a day-to-day basis will keep you one step ahead of the competition. But there's more to it than just latching on to the first application you find. Taking the time to strategize within your company and understand what you need from the technology will put you that much farther ahead of your competitors, and will make your life simpler."

Pool Season

Sometimes it's hard for those of us who live in the parts of the country where it's warm year round to remember that for the rest of the country it's only warm for a very short portion of the year. For the many Americans who live in the rest of the country, pool season is eagerly awaited. Well, pool season is almost upon us. Are your communities ready? Here's what you need to do to prepare...

Cannabis Conundrum

"Currently, twenty-six states and the District of Columbia have some form of legalization for marijuana use (medical or recreational). This past November, Florida approved the use of medical marijuana by a whopping 71%! It is likely that it is only a matter of time before Florida and many other states legalize recreational use. This is a real and pressing issue for common interest communities. In condominiums with party walls, ducts, systems and balconies, this new liberty presents a problem for the community association industry writ large." Are you ready for Mary Jane?
