Here's a quick rundown of all of the happenings in the CAM industry in this week's CAM Mashup!
Technological advancements come in all shapes and sizes. We've mentioned drones before and what that new age space tech can mean for your HOA or condo association, but the market is ever-evolving and comes out with some new fangled thing almost every day. Technology that can help eliminate crime in your association, for examples, like license plate readers and other security-style cameras.
But the tech talk you should be having is adopting a software platform that addresses all of your pain points. Gladly has a fabulous article about the conversation you need to have with your management team to really understand the kind of software that will work best for you (like something all-inclusive that is accessible 24/7/365 from any location) and how to make that conversation productive. Adopting new software is difficult, but it's such an important step toward association success.
Back to the Board
Of course, half the reason why technology adoption is so difficult is an apathetic board. Maybe you're on it or maybe you're managing it (or maybe you're thinking about starting your own management company because of it) but you know what I'm talking about.
If you've got big news that would be relevant to other CAM professionals, please share it with us in the comments, or email firstname.lastname@example.org and share a link to your news with us for inclusion in the next mash-up!
