If you haven't heard of it before, the CAM Profitability conference is an educational seminar that provides Community Management executives with helpful tips and actionable advice on how to increase profitability for their management company. The seminar is sponsored by 3 industry veterans who all feel that it is time to give back to the Community Association industry much of what has been given to them. (In the interest of full disclosure, TOPS founder Jeff Hardy is one of those veterans.)
One of the things I find fascinating about the CAM Profitability Conference is the fact that it is explicitly NOT a sales seminar. From the initial conception of the idea, all of the principals made an agreement to focus on educational material, not sales pitches. Because the concept of a sales pitch is taken off the table, the conversation at a CAM Profitability Conference differs greatly from other similar events in that the presenters are free to share their years of knowledge gained in the CAM industry without pushing anything but common sense. If you haven't had a chance to check out the CAM Profitability Conference before, I highly recommend that you look into it in 2014!
